If you haven't noticed, it's been a long time since I last wrote. You may have also noticed that there is a new sidebar at the top of the webpage with my sets from Polyvore. They are also things that I have been up to, and you can see what I've been really obsessed with lately. (for example, Animal by Neon Trees and Sheldon and Amy!!!!)

So, until I get back into the swing of things, like writing, check out the new additions to the blog. It's always nice to know that people care about what I have to say, so please comment when you can.

11 days 'til I graduate from grade 8!!! That'll be a good story to share.

Assassins

Two weeks ago, I saw the wonderful musical called "Assassins". I had heard great things about the show in the paper, and by my voice teacher. The day I saw the show, my voice teacher raved about it and I didn't have any homework, so my mom decided to take me on a whim. We didn't even know if we could get tickets or not on the day of, so we went to the theatre an hour early to see if there were any tickets available. Luckily, there were, and we hadn't wasted a drive down to Queen Street.

The show had a very interesting plotline. Basically, it's made up of bunch of little skits of all of the assassins who either killed or tried to kill the presidents of the United States. But it wasn't just how they killed them, it was also their reasons why. It seemed like most of their situations had nothing to even do with the presidents. Anyway, looking in perspective, it seems like the U.S. has had so many assassinations, and they still have never really improved their security from Abe Lincoln to Ronald Reagan. Anyway, overall a highly recommended musical to go see when you have a chance.

After the show, my mom and I rode the bus and chatted with two of the actors. Here's an interview with one of the actors I met, and his views of the show.

Snow Day!!

It's been exactly a month since my last post. I had a feeling I wouldn't get to writing at any time in January just because of all the craziness.

I had my audition for ESA (Etobicoke School of the Arts) on the 21st and it went super well. I got to the school five minutes before my drama audition, and I was really stressed. Although, my mom was more stressed than me. She was yelling at my dad in the car. Luckily, they were running a little behind schedule, and there were two people before me to go when I got to my area. The guy at the registration booth was also really nice. He told me to relax and breathe. The audition itself went really well considering I almost lost my voice before hand. I did half of my monologue and did a longer improvisation. They saw in my application that I had done the play "Noises Off", so they realized that I like physical comedy. After that, I wrote my essay which didn't take me that long. And then I went to my dance audition for Musical Theatre. I saw a whole bunch of people I knew, so I was really comfortable. At last, I did my highly anticipated Musical Theatre vocal audition. The audition people were really nice, as usual. They were really into the songs I sang, they laughed and had wide-eyed expressions. The pianist also knew "My Party Dress", the song I sang. And NO ONE knows that song! I was so happy because he didn't need to figure it out at first. Anyway, at the end of the day, I went home with so much energy. It was a great experience.

Today is an official TDSB snow day!! The news has been talking about this big snow storm for a whole week. The best word I've heard for it is a "Snowpocalypse". Looking out the window today at it, it doesn't look like much. But it's supposed to be around 40cm by the end of the day.

I better go, it's lunchtime.

Yeah, my first post of 2011!I hope everyone had a great holiday!

Now it's back to reality tomorrow when I go back to school. Oh, I'm so excited to get back to homework, stress, lack of sleep, and did I mention homework? (okay, you do know that was sarcasm, right?) Anyway, not much to say really. I'm not in the mood to talk too much. I'll (hopefully) be not too busy and I'll tell you all my amazing stories and adventures. Filled with pictures and dialogue and the whole nine yards!

Hi everyone! Wow, it's been a long time since I've written anything. Busy times. Anyway, happy holidays! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! Happy Channukah! Happy Kwanza! Happy whatever other holidays you celebrate!

I'm leaving for Montreal tomorrow to visit my aunt. She lives in St. Hubert.My mom was born there, and the rest of her siblings stayed behind when she moved to Orangeville. All of her siblings are a lot older than her. My dad's brother also lives on the other side of the city.

In the days I've had off, I've been mostly shopping and watching Christmas movies. My favourite has to be "It's A Wonderful Life". I always like the old classics. Right now I'm watching the Garfield Christmas special. I love the guy who does Garfield's voice. It's just perfect and laid back! I'd also love one of those machines that create anything you think of, what Garfield dreams of at the beginning of the special.

I should get back to packing and wrapping. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the break! Enjoy your turkey, latkas, and eggnog!

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween!!! Did everyone have an awesome and sugar-filled one? Not much to say about it really, it was just fun!

Here's a picture of me and my friend Arija. As you can see, I was a witch with super-long hair extensions, and Arija was a Lollipop Girl. It was freezing, so we had to wear my Grandma's gloves.

Sorry I haven't written much lately. Things have been really busy: homework, High Schools, music, dance, drama, etc. I also had to wait for the Halloween pictures to upload for me to write anything about Halloween.

I'm hoping to see Harry Potter tonight if I get all my homework done. I'm also filming an episode of "Skins" tomorrow. It'll air probably in February, so I'll make sure I post a clip.

That's about it. Homework is crying out "Finish Me!"

New Mayor.

As some of you may have heard, Rob Ford is Toronto's new mayor. It's a dark day in Toronto. However, luckily he needs 23 votes for something to pass. My concern is the streetcars.

Streetcars carry twice as many people as buses. When I was downtown yesterday, I had to wait ten minutes for a streetcar that made me late for an appointment. If I had to wait any longer for a second bus, I would have been home really late. I'm thinking of doing a protest to save the streetcars. Help me out, please.

On the news last night, someone said that they should stick Ford on a bike in order for him to sympathize to the cyclists. Also, he should go out to an independent movie once and a while. These things would help Ford enter what Toronto represents instead of staying in his own world in Etobicoke.

I'm still sick, but all my suggestions have been helping a lot.

I've been coughing up flem, and I think I'm losing my voice. Here are some tips if you're stuck with this stupid cold as well:

-don't drink or eat any dairy products

-mix oregano oil in orange juice

-take vitamins and cold fx

-sleep

-drink peppermint tea with honey

Tap Workshop!

On Sunday morning, I took a "Basic/Intermediate" Tap class with Everett Smith. For anyone who doesn't know who he is, he was one of the final 4 on So You Think You Can Dance Canada last year. It was so much fun, yet super insane. The second we started doing toe taps at a triple speed, I knew this was not going to be basic. I did learn some cool new stuff, though. I learned slides, how to do some cool stuff on your toes, and some other things that I forget the names of. Too bad I didn't get any pictures. I had to rush off to another class after.

Oh, I forgot to mention Thanksgiving. How was everyone's? Mine was filled with family fun. I saw my great-grandmother, my grandpa, my step-grandma, my grandma, my two cousins, and my two uncles. In between all of that I had three different pumpkin pies.

Goodbye Tiff. Goodbye Summer.

Hello! It's been a while since I've posted much. Well, anything. Sunday was the last day of tiff. (Toronto International Film Festival) I was going to go to the free movie on Saturday for the opening of the Tiff Bell Lightbox downtown. However, my dad was worried about the crowds, so we didn't get to go. We did go to the Ukrainian Festival, though.We had cabbage rolls and perogies. Very fun!

This weekend we'll probably have to miss Word on the Street because of my acting class and my piano teacher's open house.

My curling club, High Park, is loosing people on the Saturday Night mixed! If anyone 18 and over wants to try it out, the fun night is on October 2nd at 7 or 9pm at 100 Indian Road.

I'm very excited to go to Stratford with my school in a couple weeks! We are going to see "Kiss Me Kate". I'll let you know how it is.

Back to School!

It's back, and it's hopping! Yes, my friends, that would be the dreaded school. I've only actually been there for 2 days since I was sick for the first 2 days. Aweful way to start the year, huh? I even had to miss my audition. But enough about that. I'm better now thanks to Gravol, some movies I rented, sleep, and a dose of positive energy!

It's only the first week back, and we've already been piled with homework. Hopefully, it shouldn't be as bad as last year. That was insane! Anyway, it's my last year of public school and next up is High School. That should keep me busy.

After all the craziness of this week, I had a nice weekend at the Junction Arts Festival. I made a button, and I got an awesome album from "Pandemonium" that I'm now obsessed with. It's a collection of 50's and 60's music. I've been collecting albums like that until I find that music that was playing at my dad's friend's bookstore.

Countdown to School

Now that September is here, what do you think everyone is counting down to? That's right, school. 7 days to go, including today. I'm so not prepared to go back. I haven't even finished my shopping yet! Emotionally, I'm not prepared for the stress of thinking about High Schools, and the the stress of all the homework they pile on top of that! So now, I'm embracing my "free time" before Tuesday.

Meanwhile, my grandma's coming tomorrow to continue to help unpack. We also need to clear a space for our new piano that's coming on Friday. I'll post some pictures of it after it comes.

Remember that big heat wave at the end of June? Well, it's back! Luckily it's supposed to clear up by the weekend. But it's brutal! I'm trying to limit my movement as much as I can. And stay in the living room by the fan.

That's about it! Let's hope I'm less cranky by the time school starts.

Back from Chicago! (part 2)

Next up was the comic con! The moment we walked into the building, it was crowded with geeks, people in costumes, celebrities,and kids in costumes.

Our first panel was James Marsters. It was a great way to start the day off. In the room, there were a whole bunch of seats reserved for people who payed extra, but they were empty. So James said "Move forward!" So we all moved forward. Someone asked him "Dru or Buffy?" and he said "Dru!" That surprised me, but he was brutally honest.

From then on, we browsed through the exhibit hall. Taking pictures of all the costumes we saw.

We also saw some cool vintage cars from movies on our trip.

We saw Brent Spiner (Data, Star Trek), John de Lancie (Q, Star Trek), James Marsters, William Shatner, Nicholas Brendon, Clare Kramer, Julia Jones, Lindsey Wagner, and Peter S. Beagle (author of "The Last Unicorn").

My mom also tried on a "Utilikilt".

And we met some really nice people. Like fellow Buffy fans, and Collectors.

We saw this amazing costume of Jack Sparrow. He looked exactly like him!

Overall, it was a great trip! Love to go again!

Also, Brent Spiner complained that the "Chicago Comic Con" wasn't actually in Chicago, but in Rosemont, Illinois, north of Chicago.

Back from Chicago! (part 1)

I'm back! We arrived home at 4 in the morning on Tuesday. The trip was amazing, and we had so much fun!

It was around an 11 hour drive including pitstops and an hour and a

half at the border. We saw a whole bunch of cool vintage cars on our drive. The car in the picture below is an old "Hot Rod" that we saw at the border crossing.

We did as much shopping there as possible since the taxes were lower. There they were 3 to 8 percent, whereas in Ontario, the taxes are 13 percent. We mostly bought a lot from JC Penney. They had the best deals.

Friday was our day day downtown. The subway system was the most confusing thing ever. They weren't selling the day passes at the station, so we had to go to Walgreens and pick up one. We saw these posters at Walgreens:

All I can say is "Healthcare?" My dad took pictures of the signs for study purposes. He's a medical historian.

After that we went to the Chicago Cultural Centre for free. It was absolutely gorgeous! The building was originally built for a library, and it's entirely made of mosaics and marble. It also holds some of the oldest domes.

Right across the street, we went to Millenium Park. We saw a cool-looking stage and a bubble-shaped sculpture. It's called "The Bead". It's also a round mirror, so you can see the city behind you.

We also saw free live jazz music in the park.

After our little rest, we took the bus up Michigan Avenue and we went to the Museum of Contemporary Art. It wasn't that big, so we were done pretty quickly.

Finally, we got to the American Girl Store. It was hard deciding what to get. My doll, Mia, poses with a nice horse.

My mom found a doll-sized table that looked like the table she grew up with. We bought that not knowing that it didn't fold up. The rest of the way back to the hotel my dad had to carry this big box.

For dinner, we had Chicago pizza which was 3 inches thick! It was different because they put the tomato sauce on the top. But it was so delicious!

The Move Is Officially Over!

Last night, at 2:30 in the morning, we said goodbye to our old house, and hello to our new one. It was really late mostly because my mom and I were cleaning it before our old landlord took posession for his son. Today is our relaxing and unpacking day. It was nice to finally get some decent sleep.

Now that that's over, we are definitely going to Chicago. Yesterday we found the passports so that we can cross the border.

The Countdown to Moving Day

3 days to go.

The moving and packing is going well so far. the computers and TVs are set up, so I'm currently writing this at our new place. My room at the old place is the only empty room in the house! We're all very tired, so I'm really looking forward to Monday, when this is all over, and we get to sleep in. I think I may be going to the Science Centre that day, though.

Anyway, some other things that are happening:

Betsey Johnson, my favourite designer, turned 68 on the weekend. Happy Birthday Betsey!

I just saw the episode "Five By Five" of Angel last night. It was really good, but my mom fell asleep for half of it. We may have to re-watch it tonight.

We ARE going to Chicago!!!! I'll be away from August 19th, to the 23rd. I'm very excited. We booked our tickets to Comic-Con, and we booked our hotel. I'm also excited to go to the American Girl Store.

Happy Dance Day!

For anyone who watches "So You Think You Can Dance", you know what I mean. Today is National Dance Day in the U.S., however, you can also celebrate it if you are around the world. There was a youtube video of Tabitha and Napoleon, choreographers on "So You Think You Can Dance", doing a hip-hop routine for anyone to dance on this occasion. I think I've already done my share of dancing for this occasion since I was dancing all week in Dance Camp. Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to dance the routine in camp since we were too busy trying to learn Jerome Robbins' "America" from "West Side Story". I'll post the video of it later.

Harry Potter Droobles

So, in the middle of my packing and organizing, I found a little bag of Harry Potter Droobles. They seem to be a little stale, and I think they might have stained the cloth bag they're in. The Adventures of moving...and everything in between.

Hello! As most of you know, if you've been reading my blog religiously everyday, I am moving. We finally found a place to move to, and we should be all done moving by August 15th. The thing that makes this less stressful and crowded is that our new landlords have moved out already, and we can start bringing stuff to our new place until our big moving day.

My weekend was interestingly busy. On Friday, I went to my friend's house for a sleepover. We also went to the Drive-in until 2am that night. We saw Toy Story 3, and The Sorcerer's Apprentice. They both weren't incredibly awesome. They were just OK. I preferred Toy Story 3. The next day, I went home and packed some more. On Sunday I babysat an 8 year old, and a 3 year old. They were non-stop! We ran around in the sprinkler outside, and then we played with my old Barbie stuff. We also attempted to make them settle down by watching It's A Bug's Life, but then we played with Barbies after that. I was SO tired by the end of the day. Yesterday I went to Ontario Place with the same friends I saw on Friday, my mom, and my friend's nanny. If I wasn't tired enough by the end of that day, I had a piano lesson after. After that, I had this stupid idea to walk even further to the Subway in order to check out our future area. When we got home, we got some interesting news from both my grandpa (on my dad's side), and my aunt (on my mom's side). I won't get into details since the stories are quite complicated and personal. This would have to be the "interesting" part of my "interestingly busy weekend".

The Past Week or So

Hi everyone. The past week has been crazy and busy, so I haven't had the chance to write much. But now I do, so here's what's been happening:

First of all, I was having a bad weekend. I went to and Italian Festival with my friend, and I got a big burn on my neck. I think I mentioned this earlier. The next day, I was gardening late at night with my mom and my neighboor. When I get inside, I look at my legs and find 14 pink bumps. These would be 14 itchy bug bites. Monday I was fine, and nothing much happened. Tuesday was a really bad day. To start, our landlord called telling us that we have to move out by September first because his son and some friends are moving in to go to Humber College. The whole week after that we house-hunted for a place to stay. Luckily we found another place close by. Ever since, we've been packing as fast as we can.

The Heat Wave Returns!

Remember when Toronto got hit by that heat wave back in May? Well, it strikes back two months later. This week Toronto is under some extreme heat alerts. All week it's supposed to be 44 degrees with the humidex. What really helped was yesterday's power outage. I feel really bad for the people who lost their air conditioning. The power at my house was out for 3 and a half hours, but it stayed pretty cool, luckily. I was gonna write about it once the power came back, but it was getting late, and I watched the last episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" EVER!!

This was the very first time I watched a whole series through from beginning to end. This is because most of the shows I watch are running on television currently. However, I still need to get my dose of Joss Whedon every once and a while, so I am going to continue watching "Angel".

Every summer I always enjoy the opportunity to laze around the house and actually rest. However, before the summer actually starts, I assume I'll have a week just doing nothing. Boy, am I ever wrong. By the second day out of school, I usually have friends calling me up and asking me if we could get together.

Today I was at the Italian festival with my friend who just moved into that area. This was the same friend who lived down the street from the fire on Lansdowne. It was fun, and we sure ate a lot! However, I didn't put sunscreen on a patch on my neck so I got a bad red sunburn. It's like having a horrible red tan line. Here's a picture: at the top.

Great way to start the summer, huh?

Today I am trying something new. I am going to use my fashion expertise to create an outfit with some pieces I found off of google.Today I am trying something new. I am going to use my fashion expertise to create an outfit with some pieces I found off of google.

To start off, you can put anything with a simple black dress. I love this one in particular because it shows off your waist which is the narrowest part of your figure. This is also a good length because it goes just to your knees.

The bag and the shoes match perfectly in colour. I also love that they're both vintage, and add an elegant and classic edge to the modern dress. The shoes have a perfect heel: not too high, and thick enough to fully support your heel.

Happy Canada Day! Are you wearing red and white? Are you out partying in Ottawa? Are you watching the celebrations on TV? Are you living in another county asking yourself "What's Canada Day?" Or are you sitting at home ignoring the fact that it's even a holiday today?

If you're wildly curious to what I'm doing today, yes, I am wearing my Vancouver 2010 socks, and some red and white. I am planning to watch the Ottawa celebration tonight. And I am taking my friend out to the Fringe festival tonight. For those who don't know what the Fringe is, google it. I'm feeling lazy today. Today, Canada is turning 143. Wow, that's a lot.

Only a couple hours ago, I finished up another year at Claude Watson. It's nice to finally have a night when I have nothing I absolutely have to do. No exams to study for, no homework, and no after-school activities. Tonight, I plan to watch TV, and possibly go out for ice cream.

The G20 Summit

As most of you may or may not know, this weekend in Toronto, a bunch of political leaders from around the world are discussing issues. Today a big protest is going on downtown. However, this has been a perfect opportunity for some yahoos to take over and vandalize at the same time. They have been smashing windows of businesses, setting police cars on fire, and forcing hospitals, malls and the police headquarters to go into lockdown. Lucky for me, I live in the west end of Toronto, and I am far away from downtown. I hate how this is how we are representing our city.

Just An Update

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated much recently, things have been really hectic.

I have a ballet recital on Friday, and one Saturday. After the show on Saturday, I'm going to my cousin's engagement party in Burlington. I have rehearsals all week for both school and ballet. I practically live in dance wear. And my feet have been slowly dying in the pain of doing pointe for about an hour a day.

On the school front, our end of the year show is next week. We haven't had much work because our days are mostly filled with rehearsals. Also, the report card marks were due a couple weeks ago. Amongst all of this, I have my voice exam on June 24th. Wish me luck! So, while I'm writing this, I'm simultaneously singing my warm up. Lalala....

The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas

A couple weeks ago, my class and I read "The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas". Today, we just watched the movie. I preferred the movie because the visual dynamics were stunning, and words can't describe how flawless and emotionally painful it was. It left me shaking at the end. I won't say much since everyone has different reactions to the film itself. You can only watch this kind of film once in a while in order for your body to recover. However, the film explains the truth about the Holocaust, and makes you realize how horrible it was.

I Love My Dog!

This is a picture of my very adorable dog Ruby! She is almost 7 years old, and she does the cutest things ever!

Tonight, while I was doing my voice practice, she was bumping a ball back and forth to me. It was so cute! She also seems to have a slight obsession with kleenexes and socks. She is lovable, and loves to give kisses.

Do What You Can To Help The World

When I went to church today, I was inspired. In Sunday school, we were talking about how there are so many issues in our world today. For example: Global Warming, the earthquake in Haiti, and poverty. This lead me to writing today about how everybody can help.

-take rubber gloves and a plastic bag, and clean up some litter in your local park. I did this at school, and it's not as bad as it may seem. It's actually quite fun!

-recycle what you can. Buy used clothing instead of new, and donate some of your own old clothing that doesn't fit anymore to charity. If you want to be creative, you can also use recycled materials, and build furniture. This I actually did as a science project at school. A Perfect Saturday

Today was a great day, and I finally got the chance to relax. To start with, the weather was perfect. It was sunny, and not too hot. In the morning, I went to my voice lesson at 9:30am. It was essential because I have my voice exam on the 24th, wish me luck! Once I got home, I went to the annual Rennie Park garage sale. I got tons of clothing for 50 cents each! This is why I love second hand stuff! There was also a garage sale down the street from me where I bought a couple Barbie dolls for my mom's friend's kids.

During lunch we watched another Buffy episode. This one was called "Never Leave Me". I won't go into too much detail since the last two episodes were leading into this one.

The whole afternoon, my mom and I were doing gardening in our backyard. It was perfect since it wasn't hot and sticky outside. But right now, I'm so tired after weeding so much.

Wanted: Cooler Weather and Rain!

For the past couple of weeks, if you've noticed, the weather has been desperately hot. Flowers have been dying, grass has been going brown, and people have been losing their sanity. Mother Nature is our only hope in order to keep our survival for the summer. We need cooler weather and rain!!!!

Luckily enough, that's just what we're getting. The past two days have been pouring rain, and today was a pleasant temperature of 22 degrees celsius. The only downfall to rain is that it's not nice when you have to walk home in humid rainfall. However, I think my flowers are coming back to life, slowly but surely, and my house is under 80 degrees. I hope everyone is feeling better.

Chuck Season 3 Finale

I finally got around to watching the Chuck Season 3 Finale on Sunday night. Coincidentally, Chuck and The Big Bang Theory both ended their 3rd seasons on the same night (Monday, May 24th, 2010). Luckily, Chuck is getting renewed for a 4th season, and The Big Bang Theory got renewed for at least 2 more seasons.

For people who continue reading and do not watch the show, this may be a huge spoiler of this season!

The final two episodes were a good wrap up of the entire season. Overall, I found this season depressing. It began with Chuck's muddled relationship with Sarah, Shaw arrived and stole Sarah (he was also evil, which I suspected from the beginning), and the series took a darker turn when Chuck went insane. However, this season had great story arks for all of the main charactors: Chuck, Sarah, Casey, Morgan, Ellie, and Devon. As much as I hated this season, it was necessary for the show. Ironically, I was watching season 6 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer at the same time as I was watching this season. The two were remarkably similar because all of the charactors were going through awkward stages in their lives, and the seasons overall made people depressed.

The final sequence of the last episode reminded me a lot of the season 3 finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Because the Buy More has been the central base of the series since the beginning, it was

a symbolic part of the show when the Buy More was blown up by a bomb at the end of season 3. This was the same thing that happened in Buffy when the High School was blown up at the end of it's 3rd season.

Farewell to May

It has been an eventful month, that's for sure. A good way to end the month was with an extremely hilarious episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer (Him). I hope the heat wave has ended with the month, at least until summer has actually arrived. June symbolizes the end of a lot of things. For me it's: school, dance, and a voice exam.

The Lansdowne Fire

This afternoon I was helping my friend unpack from her move earlier this week. While we were putting junk on the shelves, her mom came running up the stairs telling us to get out of the house. This nearly gave me a heart attack because she was screaming from the top of her lungs. She also said that there was a fire down the street that was spreading pretty quickly. When we (my mom, my friend, my dad, the cat, and I) got outside we saw a huge amount of dark smoke in front of us. The next thing I knew was that there were 8 firetrucks parked along the street. Originally, my family and I were supposed to be there for only a couple of hours because my dad was setting up their cable and internet. However, we were unable to leave for 4 hours because our car was blocked by all the firetrucks.

The fire was caused by some people grilling on their roof, and because it was so windy, the fire caught onto the roof. Because the house was a semi, it spread next door. Fortunately, the fire wasn't that big, but looked big due to the amount of smoke. I was able to take a few videos and pictures which I will post as soon as I can.

This was my weekend excitement!

It's Friday!

The hot week is finally over! However, I do have a voice recital tomorrow, and a dress rehearsal tonight. But at least I don't have that much homework for the weekend. The weather in Toronto is finally cooling down, but Calgary did get snow. I wonder if it'll melt by July, when I go down to visit my uncle. Ironically, the air conditioning at my school is working at the same time the temperature goes down. Will this lovely weather stick around? We'll have to wait and see.

The Big Bang Theory Season 3 Finale!

Last night I finally watched the last two episodes of The Big Bang Theory. They were both brilliant! The first one was about how the elevator broke down, used in a series of flashbacks. It was funny that the gang looked more like they were "Stuck In The 90's" (the Moxy Fruvous song) rather than in 2003. They also incorporated Joyce Kim into the flashbacks (Leonard mentions about her in season 1). The finale left a shocking cliff hanger for season 4. Raj and Howard sign Sheldon up on an online dating site. Surprisingly, a match is found for Sheldon! Her name is Amy, and she is a perfect version of Sheldonette. Here is a clip:

A Very Hot Day

This week, Toronto is suffering a major heat wave. It was funny to see my uncle in Calgary wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt, while I was wearing shorts and a tank top (this was while we were video chatting). Apparently, they were gonna get snow. Correct me if I'm wrong, people from Calgary. At school, our air conditioning was broken. The only room that was cold was the gym. It was so hot that I had to sleep in my basement in order to keep cool. Tonight, in order to maintain a cool body temperature, I'm planning on eating a giant bowl of ice cream. I also want to watch last night's Glee (which I missed) or the season finale of Chuck (which I also missed). Hopefully, I will post my feelings about whichever one I watched tomorrow.
